“Lawrence is a technically gifted player, who plays with flare, taste and has a keen sense of groove. A confident performer with a unique stage presence, its been a pleasure to work with him and his band over the last few years”
Suzi Ireland, Pink Mist
“Lawrence is an incredibly talented bass player and musician. Combined with being a consummate professional and a very easy going and friendly person, this makes Lawrence an ideal person to work with and as a result, is mine and many others go to guy.”
Ben Johnsen, The Low Down
“Lawrence shows the utmost professionalism towards any project I have worked with him on. He's able to do justice to the music compositionally and performance wise, without directing away from the spirit of the music or taking precedence over it. He is a valuable asset to my fusion/prog outfit and for anyone seeking top notch composure and reserve in a bassist, he's your man. 10/10 from me!”
Levi Cano, Composer
“Insane musician. I had given him an album's worth of material, with no notation or score to learn for a rehearsal and he knew it better than I did in such a short period of time. To add to this, a really affable guy, reliable and professional. Hire. Now.”
Chris Nuelle, Sermon
“Really friendly and all round great tutor and bass player would recommend for lessons :)”
Luke Hawkins, Student
“I've only recently got to know Lawrence and I'm so glad we met. Lawrence has played bunch of gigs with our band and has brought a huge amount to our live set. When we rehearse he is always the first one in the studio and comes 100% prepared, knows all the tunes and then adds some extra. Bottom Line is that not only is Lawrence very very good at the bass he is also a really excellent person with super-duper GSOH. Would totally recommend Lawrence for any project or as a tutor”
Jake Parris, Marine Island Band
